  • Free Application for Student Aid - The FAFSA is an application for student loans (money you will pay back) and PELL grants (money you will NOT pay back).

    • Subsidized - you pay no interest while in school (government pays it)

    • Unsubsidized - you pay the interest from the start

  • College Prep Info:

    • Apply to a college(s) - community college is FREE and universities have a fee

    • Complete a résumé

    • Ask in ADVANCE for letters of recommendation for scholarships

    • Apply for scholarships -- I will add them as they become available. They will ALL be posted in this Google Spreadsheet. There is a link inside the spreadsheet to view local scholarships (see below).

    • Apply for the FAFSA

    • Go on a college visit(s) -- schedule with Mrs. Davidson
