Mr. Lutters' Site

Welcome to my 5th grade classroom site!

About Me

My name is Tony Lutters. I am in my 22nd year of teaching, and in my 14th year at Montezuma Elementary.  I am the 5th grade homeroom teacher and teach 3-5th language arts and will alternately teach science and social studies.  I have, in the past, taught in a departmentalized elementary school in which I taught 3rd-6th science, as well as other core classes such as reading, spelling, and social studies.  I have also taught non-core classes such as 5th-6th grade band and junior high PE.  The year before moving to Montezuma I taught a combined 4-5th classroom.

My family is my life.  My wife, Trina, is 3rd grade homeroom and teaches 3-5th reading and spelling.  My oldest daughter, Trinity, is in 8th grade this year.  Tianna, my middle daughter, is going into 5th grade.  My youngest daughter, Tierney, is beginning her elementary educational journey by entering kindergarten this year.
