Philosophy of Education

I believe that teachers must meet students where they are.  Successful educators meet each student at his or her cognitive and emotional level and build from there.  I also believe that teachers must build a safe, trusting relationship with students.  Students that are in a safe environment and have a relationship with the teacher are more likely to succeed and more likely to be motivated to learn.

Teachers must meet students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally.  It's a tough job.
