High School Prom is on Saturday, which means the SGHS Booster Club Father/Daughter dance will be Sunday, 3/30. Forms were sent home earlier this month and are due on Wednesday, 3/26! If you need another form reach out to any of the offices and we can get you one.
We will have track practice today at 4:00 p.m. for anyone who can make it.

Our South Gray Lady Rebels are playing in the State Tournament tomorrow night at 8:00 at United Wireless Arena in Dodge City. We would like every Rebel fan to be there to support our girls. So, let's have a 2 hour delay on Thursday! No excuses to not be in Dodge City tomorrow night. GO REBELS!
State Basketball send-off for the girls on Wednesday @ 4:30, and for the boys on Thursday @ 4:30. Meet on the North side of campus next to the band room. Go Rebels! Take State!

South Gray Junior High Scholars Bowl team traveled to Satanta today for their meet! Varsity went 4-2 in pool
Play and broke finals where they went 2-3 in finals. JV worked hard and went 1-6 in pool play today. Great job Rebels!
High school track practice will begin on Monday, March 24th after school. There will be practice during spring break (March 17th - March 21st) at 4:00 p.m. each day. The spring break practices are not mandatory. However, if students are home during spring break and need something to do, there will be practice!

There will be no junior high track practice tomorrow due to our athletes playing in pep band or next Monday due to parent-teacher conferences! We had a great first week of practice!
South Gray Junior High 7th graders have been working hard in science on their human body systems projects. They will be displayed in the commons area during Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday!
Montezuma 4th Graders worked hard on their diorama book reports this week. These will be on display during conferences. Come take a peek on Monday!
Copeland Elementary 2nd graders learned about President James Madison and First Lady Dolly Madison as well as The War of 1812 taught by student teacher, Ms. Rocha. The 2nd graders then gave speeches about the topics! They all did a wonderful job!
South Gray Junior High students participated in a Book Tasting event for Read Across America Week coordinated by their teachers. Students all had 5 minutes to read from different books or novels before switching to another book to give them a taste of each book they may choose to read in its entirety.
Copeland Elementary students enjoyed activities for Read Across America/Dr. Seuss week. Each day students had a Dr. Seuss book read to them followed by an activity created by each teacher.
