Cross Country girls meet is up for grabs!
There will be a send off for the cross country team Friday @ 10:30. Everyone is welcome. It will be held in front of the grade school office. Come and wish them good luck!
MES Trick-or-Treat Parade will be 10/31/22 in downtown Montezuma at approximately 3:00pm. If you or your business would like to hand out candy to the kiddos, call Kelli @ 620-846-2283 for details or with any questions.

The Volleyball team would like to thank everyone for their support at Substate yesterday. I think I heard a few yelling at their TVs that we’re watching online. It’s awesome to see everyone come together to cheer each other on to victory. Good luck to Cross Country next weekend and after that basketball. I love watching these Jr High and High School students compete.

This kid!!! Zac Gallegos. I just can’t put into words how amazing he is! He was running today and there was another runner ahead of him who had stopped to walk. Zac gets up to him and tells him, “Keep going. You’ve got this!” The kid started running again with Zac. I am sure he finished the race thanks to the encouragement from Zac! We have amazing kids! I will post results when I get them! The athletes all ran well and the weather was perfect! 😎

The landscape changes so much in a week. Making progress and so far we are on schedule.
The stage is set for the South Gray Fall Concert featuring the Junior High Band, Junior High Choir, and High School Choir. 7:00 pm at South Gray Junior High! It will be great! The kids have worked hard and have had a busy whirlwind first term of school!

I want to thank Mrs. McFall for providing the FAFSA night for our senior students and parents. I also want to thank those that attended and the GCCC rep who took an evening out of her week to spend with us at SGHS. Many questions were answered!!
