Copeland Elementary Kindergartners enjoyed their first field trip on the first day of school to watch artist, Troy Freeman, finish up the new Copeland mural on the north side of the Copeland Public Library! The library has undergone a complete renovation this summer! Come out and check it out!!!! The library looks fantastic inside and out!

Parents, just a reminder about Free & Reduced Meal Priced Applications - Even if your student chooses not to eat meals provided by the school, please consider applying if you will qualify! Our districts and your student are benefitted by different entities for a wide range of academic purposes. Think college programs, grants for specific student activities, etc. All financial information submitted via this application as well as the approval status of your student is strictly confidential.
If you have children attending both Copeland and Montezuma, you only need to fill out one application.

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) announces the participation of sponsoring agencies in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for the current program year. Please apply if your family qualifies as this helps with federal funding for our schools.
By participating in this program, sponsors will receive federal funds for serving nutritious meals to enrolled participants. The amount of federal reimbursement paid to centers is based on the number of meals served to eligible enrolled participants who qualify for free, reduced-price or paid meals.
