A decision regarding the status of the elementary Christmas concert will be made around 3:30 this afternoon.

SGHS students and teachers: I caught Mr. Applegate after the game and discussed the finals schedule for Thursday and Friday. Here it is!

Teachers and high school students: I will meet with Mr. Applegate tomorrow morning about how we will handle finals. Please check back after 10:00!

Due to the forecast of winds constant at 50-60 mph and gusting in excess of 70 mph, I feel it is in the best interest for student safety to cancel school for tomorrow. Visibility due to the dry conditions and the possibility of the loss of power are a concern as well. We transport a large number of students on our routes and shuttles between districts. At this time the forecast is for the winds to decrease late in the afternoon. Therefore the elementary Christmas concert is still on pending weather conditions. A final decision for the concert will be made tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for understanding. Please share.

SG alumni news: congratulations to Christy!! What a night in Beaver Nation. The women's team losses a heartbreaker in 2 OT off of 19 points by Christy Wiebe. Then the guy's team knocked off the #9 team in the nation by a score of 85-71 off 28 points by Cam Morris.

Satanta is opening up the class to students from nearby high schools and is inviting students from South Gray High School Cost of the class is $55 for student for those who register early (at least one week prior to the class date) and $10 more for those who register within the week of the class. After reading a couple of stories about Helen Keller and a story about a blind man that likes to hike, the 4th graders went to Stauth Memorial Museum. They saw the display “Child in a Strange Country: Helen Keller and the History of Education for People Who are Blind or Visually Impaired.” The display was very interactive as the class was able to make their name with Braille letters, some used a Braille typewriter, and they were able to put a puzzle together that was very tactile. The display had several different ways to teach different subjects to blind or visually impaired students.

Hard night but wow so meaningful! The band was amazing! Loved the new song that Mac had planned to play and you nailed it! All athletes gutted it out and played so well. Cheerleaders were amazing! Loved the Christmas sweaters! And to the Satanta Indians and their NHS club, we thank you! 🥰
