The Lady Rebel volleyball team qualified for the State Tournament on Thursday and the FB team travels to Udall the same day. To allow our staff, students and fans to support our athletes, there will be no school on Thursday, October 30th. Friday, October 31st is already scheduled as a no school day. The Elementary Halloween parties and downtown Trick or Treat will now be held on Wednesday, October 29th.

The South Gray Junior High and High School Choirs performed an excellent Fall Concert Thursday night! Bravo to all the singers and musicians as well as Directors, Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Loewen, and Accompanist, Mrs. Erickson.

The Yearbook staff has been hard at work! You can now order a picture of your favorite player. Don't miss out!

The Runnin' Rebels Cross Country teams will compete in Ellis tomorrow morning at the Regional Meet. Run fast, kids!

South Gray High School choir members traveled to Minneola today and participated in the SPIAA League Choir clinic. They rehearsed five selections and performed a concert under the direction of Mr. Sean Boller, choir director at Garden City Community College. The concert sounded great! Way to musically represent SGHS 🎶

Come join us tomorrow evening in Copeland for the Fall Vocal Concert performed by our High School and Junior High Vocal Students and led by Mrs. Connie Loewen and Mrs. Carlotta Patterson.

Congratulations to our Kindergarten and 1st Grade Para, Ms. Miller on receiving the USD 476 Red Apple Award. Ms. Miller joined our building this year and has jumped right in with a positive attitude daily, a willingness to do anything for our kiddos, and always has a smile on her face. We are so glad she joined our staff and we appreciate all she does each and every day! 🍎

Montezuma Elementary PTO is currently selling Texas Roadhouse rolls. They come frozen with a tub of honey cinnamon butter - $12/dz. If you are local and would like to order, please find an elementary student or call Kelli in the office. **Parents/students please bring the orders you have to the office today, Friday, 10/17.

Students in the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR) class recently toured High Plains Ponderosa Dairy in Plains, Kansas. During the visit, students learned firsthand about dairy production, feed, herd, and health management, lab technicians, and the advanced technology they use in their dairy operations. A highlight of the trip was the maternity ward, where students enjoyed seeing newborn calves and learning about the care they receive after birth. Thank you High Plains Ponderosa Dairy for allowing us this amazing educational opportunity.
