Please consider supporting the Running Rebels Cross , via purchasing one of these cool shirts, one or more than one!
Also, I will be reaching out to supporters via request for sponsorship. We will be once again hosting a fun walk/run event; “Montezuma in Motion”, later in school year and asking for sponsors for said event. The funds gathered will be used to offset the purchasing of the recently earned state championship rings.
Thanks in advance to many and thank you to those who have already willingly donated.
Share the shirt order. 🥊 punch N pull
Thanks,
Coach Granados

This is not really a fall book, but we have been reading personal narratives for book reports. Montezuma 4th graders read “Thunder Cake” this afternoon. The book is a narrative about a little girl that is afraid of storms so her grandma has her make a cake to keep her mind off of the storm as it approaches. After reading and discussing the story, we joined Mrs. Z in her classroom and made thunder cake with a few of her students. There was a recipe at the end of the story that called for puréed tomatoes (interesting ingredient for sure). Everyone tried the cake, not everyone liked the cake. We decided you can’t really taste the tomatoes, but there was a little different taste to the cake. Thank you Mrs. Cassandra Zweygardt and class!

South Gray Junior High and Copeland Elementary hosted their Thankful Teacher Turkey Fundraiser! Students purchased feathers for the teacher they wanted to win! Coach Carey was the winner with over 300 feathers and had to wear a Turkey Suit all day today!!! He was a great sport and the kids loved it!!!
