It's not every day South Gray Junior High receives mail from The White House! 6th grade student, Nico Mena wrote to President Donald Trump for his SEL Attitude of Gratitude lesson. Nico received a letter back from the President this morning which brought much excitement to him and the students! Great Job Nico and thanks to the White House for the kind words and response! 🇺🇸 ⚔️ 💙

Tomorrow, (Wed. 12/17) we will have Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. On Thursday, (12/18) we will have our Christmas Dinner w/ turkey instead of ham. Families of students, please note: At this time, we do not intend for holiday meals at school (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc) to be shared with families. You may come sit with your child while they eat if you'd like, but meals will not be provided for the public.

Kelli Livermore with Kansas Corn STEM brought agriculture to life in Mrs. Hoffman's AFNR class by exploring everything from flash-freezing food and the many types of corn (and their uses) to the science behind what makes popcorn pop. Students also learned about genetic modification, GMOs, natural selection, and how 3D printing is shaping the future of agriculture and food science.

SCCC Adult Education will be offering low-cost GED and English Language (ESL) classes starting in January 2026!
We are currently looking for some AMAZING individuals to become our part-time evening instructors (<20 hours/week).
Bachelors degree and teaching experience preferred, teaching degree NOT required.
