Reminder of the community meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Copeland JH Commons. Please plan to attend this important meeting as the BOE seeks public input pertaining to a possible consolidation of USD #476 and USD #371. We will move the meeting into the JH gym if necessary.
The golf meets on April 22(Var), and April 29 (JV) both at SWH have been canceled due to poor course conditions. The varsity will be made up this Friday April 11 at South Central Coldwater 1:00p.
SGHS is rescheduling their Night of Worship... April 23 at 7. Come worship and hear the Word from Luke Ballard, the 2023 Bullfighters Only World Champion.
The following athletes will be attending the Pre-State Challenge track meet in Wichita on Tuesday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th.

Those selected to attend either qualified for the state track meet last year or met a qualifying standard. Entries were limited to 2 per event. Attached is the 2-day schedule. Students will receive an itinerary today at practice.
There is a possibility that several athletes will be moved to the Elite section.
Elite sections: (as taken from meet information)
"An elite portion will be contested to allow for the top tier of athletes to compete against each other. These athletes will be selected from the final accepted entry list. Athletes who won a state championship during the 2025 season will be automatically awarded a position in the Elite section if requested. The Meet Director will have final say on which athletes are placed in Elite Sections."

SGJH Scholar's Bowl wrapped up their season today at the League Tournament in Protection. They had a great season and worked hard and remained competitive at every meet. Job well done! The team is coached by Mrs. Jamie Koehn. ⚔️ ⚔️⚔️
SGJH students' Life Principal word of the month is "Service." Students spent Wednesday offering community service to Copeland by picking up trash and stopped into Copeland's brand new business HWY 56 General on their opening day! Thank you students for offering your time and service to beautify the community!
The SGHS Band had the privilege of being conducted by clinician, Bob Lee, in band this week. Mr. Lee judges around the state, is a retired band teacher, and works for Palen Music. He helped the students polish up their pieces for State Large Group Music Festival on April 9. His time was much appreciated! ⚔️🎵⚔️
