
The Montezuma 4th Graders and Copeland 3rd and 4th Graders traveled to Finney County Fair Grounds today to take part in the Farm Bureau Friends on the Farm Day. They heard from many different presenters in the agriculture world. What a great afternoon of learning!

Due to our 2 hour delay on Wednesday (1/24/24), Dental Screenings for Montezuma students have been rescheduled for February 12th.

Unified School Districts 371 and 476 will have a two hour delay on Wednesday, January 24th. There will be no PreK for Unified School District 371.

Mrs. Neufelds 7th Grade Kansas History students enjoyed a trip to Boot Hill in Dodge City. They toured the sights and experienced all the exhibits and ended the trip with Sarsaparillas! They were great representatives of SGJH!

HSBB: SPIAA Tourney, up-dated brackets

SGJH Rebels traveled to Pawnee Heights on Thursday. Both C teams, JV teams, and JV girls defeated the Tigers. Varsity Boys fought hard but lost to Pawnee Heights 15-21. It's a Great Day to be a Rebel!

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee participants today! South Gray Junior High student finalists were Harper Bryant-1st Place, Finley Yost-2nd Place, David Driedger-3rd place, and Sara Bueckert-4th Place (Alternate) and Copeland Elementary student finalists were Lawson Bryant-1st Place, Grant Breneman-2nd Place, Kallen Koehn-3rd Place, and Pierson Klaker-4th Place (Alternate). These students will spell again on January 31 in Ingalls for the County Spelling Bee.





Congratulations to Copeland Elementary teachers, Mrs. Lacy and her para, Mrs. Loewen on receiving the USD 476 Rebel Red Apple Award. Last month's recipient, Mrs. Faurot awarded this to them for the incredible job they do teaching the combined 3rd and 4th grade classes! They both are wonderful at leading their students with care, compassion, and a smile! They both are wonderful assets to our school and make our building a better place to work and learn each and every day!

SGJH Rebels played against the Kiowa County Mavericks tonight at home!
The varsity boys put up a good fight against the Mavericks, but fell short by 3 points. All the other Rebel teams took home victories tonight! Great job Rebels!











With the weather delay tomorrow (1/16), the spelling bee at Montezuma will start at 10:10. All are welcome to come watch.

South Gray Junior High hosted Moscow, Satanta, and Deerfield for a Junior High tournament on Saturday! Varsity Girls, JV Girls, and JV Boys all won their games. Varsity boys played hard and came up short against Satanta in the final game! Great job Rebels on a great day of basketball!











The Lady Rebels basketball team is selling Frontier trash bags! A Google form is attached for anyone interested, or you can purchase directly from any of the Lady Rebels.
Order will be taken until January 29th. Trash bags will arrive around February 5th.
